5 behaviors. One for each phase of the shift.
This program teaches supervisors, line leaders, and production officers a structured daily routine built around 5 behaviors — one for each phase of the shift.
Before shift — Plan
Attendance, skills, production targets. Everything set before the line moves.
Start of shift — Assign
Direct the team clearly. Who does what, where, and why.
During shift — Follow Up
Check at intervals. Help on the spot. Reinforce what works. Correct what does not.
Problem occurs — Solve
Small problems fixed now. Bigger problems move to an Action Log with a named owner.
End of shift — Report
Close the shift. Hand over clearly. Leave nothing open.
BEFORE & AFTER — what changes at their line.
The morning meeting has no agenda. The supervisor decides on the spot what to discuss. The team stands and waits. Problems from yesterday are mentioned but not resolved. The same issues appear again next shift.
The supervisor follows a numbered agenda — item one, item two, item three. The agenda is posted before the meeting. The team can see it. They come prepared. They know what they need to update. The meeting becomes a team activity. People report on what they have done because the structure invites them to.
